{"id":1325,"date":"2021-05-22T21:31:31","date_gmt":"2021-05-22T21:31:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sarpidon-academy.eu\/?post_type=ignition-service&#038;p=1325"},"modified":"2022-05-23T20:55:59","modified_gmt":"2022-05-23T20:55:59","slug":"tis-pylou-geoponika-d","status":"publish","type":"ignition-service","link":"https:\/\/sarpidon-academy.eu\/en\/ignition-service\/tis-pylou-geoponika-d\/","title":{"rendered":"Pylos  Agronomy  (D)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>Pylos&nbsp; <\/strong><strong>Agronomy&nbsp; (<\/strong><strong>D)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>\u0399<\/strong><strong>&nbsp; am&nbsp; cleaning&nbsp; the&nbsp; virgin&nbsp; land.&nbsp; I&nbsp; am&nbsp; dissolving&nbsp; the&nbsp; cigar&nbsp; stones&nbsp; into&nbsp; pieces.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">It&nbsp; was&nbsp; found&nbsp; in&nbsp; <strong>Pylos<\/strong>,&nbsp; <strong>Messinia<\/strong>, <strong>Greece<\/strong>&nbsp; and&nbsp; it&nbsp; dates&nbsp; back&nbsp; to&nbsp; 1400&nbsp; B.C..<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">We&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; have&nbsp; neither&nbsp;&nbsp; a&nbsp; depiction&nbsp; of the&nbsp; original, nor&nbsp; any&nbsp; elements&nbsp; about&nbsp; when&nbsp; and&nbsp; by&nbsp; whom&nbsp; it&nbsp; was&nbsp; found,&nbsp; until&nbsp; now.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>In&nbsp; the&nbsp; text&nbsp; we&nbsp; can&nbsp; find&nbsp; clearing&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; techniques&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; virgin&nbsp; land,&nbsp; before&nbsp; cultivation.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp; text&nbsp; is&nbsp; a&nbsp; document&nbsp; of&nbsp; specialized&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; agricultural&nbsp; knowledge&nbsp; and&nbsp; action&nbsp; for&nbsp; the&nbsp; clearing&nbsp;&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; land<strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>before&nbsp; cultivation .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp; phonetic&nbsp; values,&nbsp; as&nbsp; they&nbsp; were&nbsp; identified&nbsp; and&nbsp; phonetically&nbsp; transcribed&nbsp; by&nbsp; <em><strong>Ventris&nbsp; <\/strong><\/em><em><strong>and&nbsp; <\/strong><\/em>Chadwick, are&nbsp; the&nbsp; following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>PU&nbsp;&nbsp; RO&nbsp; RE&nbsp; WO&nbsp; TO&nbsp; RO&nbsp;&nbsp; KO&nbsp; WO&nbsp; <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>We&nbsp; studied&nbsp; the&nbsp; phonetic&nbsp; values&nbsp; in&nbsp; the&nbsp; actual&nbsp; text. We understood&nbsp; it,&nbsp; we&nbsp; read&nbsp;&nbsp; and&nbsp;&nbsp; rendered&nbsp;&nbsp; it&nbsp; into&nbsp; Modern&nbsp; Greek,&nbsp; but&nbsp; we&nbsp; also&nbsp; approached&nbsp; it&nbsp; philosophically.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>Figuration&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; phonetic&nbsp; values&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; text.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">In&nbsp; our own&nbsp; view,&nbsp; the&nbsp; phonetic&nbsp; values&nbsp; are&nbsp; formed&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; as&nbsp; follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>PURO-REWO-TORO-KOWO&nbsp; <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp; language&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; text&nbsp; is&nbsp; <strong>Greek<\/strong>,&nbsp; <strong>Archaic<\/strong>, typical&nbsp; of&nbsp; any&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Minoan&nbsp; text<\/strong>. The&nbsp; grammatical&nbsp; structure&nbsp; of&nbsp;&nbsp; the&nbsp; text&nbsp; is&nbsp; mixed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">One&nbsp; can&nbsp; identify&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Pontic<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; words, as&nbsp; well as&nbsp; <strong>Classical&nbsp; Greek&nbsp; Language<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp; utterance&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; words&nbsp;&nbsp; and&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; verbal&nbsp; types, follows&nbsp; the&nbsp; grammatical&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>rules<\/strong>&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; Pontic&nbsp;&nbsp; Dialect, as&nbsp; well&nbsp; as&nbsp; those&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; Classical&nbsp; Greek&nbsp;&nbsp; Language.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>Rendition&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; text:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>\u03a4\u03bf<\/strong><strong>&nbsp; <\/strong><strong>\u03c0\u03bf\u03c5\u03c1<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong><strong>\u03c1\u03ad\u03b2\u03c9<\/strong><strong>&nbsp; <\/strong><strong>\u03c4\u03bf\u03c1\u03b5\u03cd\u03c9<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong><strong>\u03ba\u03cc\u03b2\u03c9<\/strong><strong>&nbsp; (<\/strong><strong>\u03ba\u03cc\u03c6\u03c4\u03c9<\/strong><strong>).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>The&nbsp; <\/strong><strong>\u03a4<\/strong><strong>ext&nbsp; in&nbsp; Modern&nbsp; Greek:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong><em>I&nbsp; am&nbsp; dispersing&nbsp; the&nbsp; stone&nbsp; (dissolving&nbsp; it&nbsp; into&nbsp; pieces)&nbsp; and&nbsp; I am&nbsp; carving&nbsp; it.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong><em>(<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u03a4\u03b7\u03bd \u03c0\u03bf\u03c5\u03c1\u03cc\u03c0\u03b5\u03c4\u03c1\u03b1 \u03c3\u03ba\u03bf\u03c1\u03c0\u03af\u03b6\u03c9 (\u03b4\u03b9\u03b1\u03bb\u03cd\u03bf\u03bd\u03c4\u03ac\u03c2 \u03c4\u03b7\u03bd \u03c3\u03b5 \u03ba\u03bf\u03bc\u03bc\u03ac\u03c4\u03b9\u03b1) \u03c3\u03ba\u03b1\u03bb\u03af\u03b6\u03c9-\u03c4\u03c1\u03c5\u03c0\u03ce<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong><em>\u039a\u03bf\u03bc\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03b9\u03ac\u03b6\u03c9<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>).<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>A&nbsp;&nbsp; Philosophical&nbsp; Approach:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp; author&nbsp; of&nbsp; this&nbsp; inscription&nbsp; is&nbsp; a&nbsp; Pelasgian,&nbsp;&nbsp; and&nbsp; he&nbsp; knows&nbsp; very&nbsp; well&nbsp; how&nbsp; an&nbsp; infertile&nbsp; and&nbsp; rocky&nbsp;&nbsp; piece&nbsp;&nbsp; of land&nbsp; becomes&nbsp; fertile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp;&nbsp; cigar&nbsp; stone&nbsp; is&nbsp; a&nbsp; type&nbsp; of&nbsp; rock,&nbsp; which&nbsp; has&nbsp; the&nbsp; appearance&nbsp; of&nbsp; a&nbsp; thin&nbsp; geological&nbsp;&nbsp; layer. When&nbsp; this&nbsp; is&nbsp; dissolved, the&nbsp; conditions&nbsp; are perfect&nbsp; for&nbsp; viticulture. We&nbsp; always&nbsp; find&nbsp; it&nbsp; in&nbsp; semi-mountainous&nbsp; places,&nbsp; where&nbsp; there&nbsp; are&nbsp; vineyards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">This&nbsp; is&nbsp; the&nbsp; way&nbsp; my&nbsp; Pelasgian&nbsp;&nbsp; father&nbsp; used&nbsp; to clear&nbsp;&nbsp; land&nbsp; for&nbsp; viticulture, in&nbsp; the&nbsp; 1960s. At&nbsp; first&nbsp; he&nbsp; drilled &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;the rock&nbsp; with&nbsp; a&nbsp; crowbar,&nbsp; after&nbsp; removing&nbsp; the&nbsp; plants&nbsp; from&nbsp; the surface&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; rock. Then,&nbsp; he&nbsp; used&nbsp; a&nbsp; hammer&nbsp; to&nbsp; smash&nbsp; this&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; stone&nbsp; into&nbsp; pieces. In&nbsp; this&nbsp; way,&nbsp; the&nbsp; mass&nbsp; went&nbsp; away&nbsp; from&nbsp; the&nbsp; field, and&nbsp; the crumbs&nbsp; were&nbsp; dispersed&nbsp;&nbsp; and&nbsp; mixed&nbsp; with&nbsp; the&nbsp; plants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">This&nbsp; text&nbsp; proves&nbsp; that&nbsp; the&nbsp; procedure&nbsp; of&nbsp; clearing&nbsp; the&nbsp;&nbsp; land&nbsp; is&nbsp; ancient,&nbsp; and&nbsp; it&nbsp; is&nbsp; also&nbsp; used&nbsp; nowadays,&nbsp;&nbsp; to&nbsp;&nbsp; set&nbsp; the&nbsp; conditions&nbsp; for&nbsp; viticulture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">People&nbsp; of&nbsp; that&nbsp; time&nbsp; often&nbsp; warmed&nbsp;&nbsp; the&nbsp; rocks&nbsp; before&nbsp; dissolving&nbsp; them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">While&nbsp; studying&nbsp; these&nbsp; texts, I&nbsp; understand&nbsp; and&nbsp; I&nbsp; feel&nbsp; all&nbsp; the&nbsp; procedures. I&nbsp; can&nbsp; approach&nbsp; them&nbsp; better, because&nbsp; I&nbsp; used&nbsp; to&nbsp;&nbsp; carry&nbsp; out&nbsp; some&nbsp; of&nbsp; them,&nbsp; with&nbsp; the&nbsp; aid&nbsp; of&nbsp; my&nbsp; father. I&nbsp; have&nbsp; also&nbsp; seen&nbsp; him &nbsp;clearing&nbsp;&nbsp; more&nbsp; fields,&nbsp; following&nbsp; the&nbsp; same&nbsp; ancient&nbsp; method.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u0399  am  cleaning  the  virgin  land.
