A  woman  is  narrating  her  benefaction.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It   was  found  in  Asturias, Iberia, Spain. It  dates  back  to  1400   B.C..<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In  the  text  we  can  find  a  narration  about  a  woman\u2019s  benefaction.The  text  is  a  document  of  the  cultural   level, as  well   as  of  emotions  of  solidarity,  humanitarianism, understanding  and  supporting  the  weak.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Asturias  is  an  administrative  prefecture of  the  Iberian  Peninsula ,  even  nowadays, ,  which  is  a  part  of  the  Spanish  State.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The  Ancient  Text  of  Asturias  came  to  light  by  Jean  Vercoutter.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

According  to  the  researchers  who  dealt  with  the  text,  it  dates  back  to  1400   B.C..<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A  group  of  researchers worked  on   the  text, and  matched  its  symbols  to   their  phonetic  values  as  follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

Honouring  their  work ,  we  did not   retrace  the  initial  text,  which   includes  symbols.  Instead, we  began  from  the  point  we  had  stopped.<\/span><\/p>\n

We  studied  the  phonetic  values  in  the  actual  text. We understood  it,  we  read   and   rendered   it  into  Modern  Greek,  but  we  also  approached  it  philosophically.<\/span><\/p>\n

The  language  of  the  text  is  Greek,  Archaic, and  it  resembles  a  Minoan  text. The  grammatical  structure  of   the  text  is  mixed.<\/span><\/p>\n

One  can  identify     words   of  the  local  Macedonian   Dialect, Pontic  words,  as  well as  Classical  Greek  Language.<\/span><\/p>\n

A   Philosophical  Approach:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I  make  benefactions: The  level  of  social  relationships  includes   values  of  high  standards, as  benefactions  are a  part  of  the  social  relationships.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Solidarity is   a  characteristic   of  the  Greek  mentality,   since  the  times  of  the  myth. The  Greeks  always  offer  something   to  those  in  need,  even  if   their  belongings  are   not  enough. This  is  the  way  the  heroine  of  this  text  acts. She   offers  food  to   her  next-door,  waiting  nothing  in  return  by  him. She    makes   the  benefaction  to  the  people   she  thinks   this  is  necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As  a  woman, she has  the  housework  responsibility  and  she  is  proud  of  her  charitable  actions towards    a  disabled  person, saying: \u201c I  make   benefactions,   as  I  give  food  to  a  miserable  person\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

I  give  him  myzithra:<\/strong> People  in   Asturias of  the  time  have  knowledge  about  cheese-making. Thus,  milk   processing    was   already   known.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He  is   mentally  handicapped  since  his  early  age<\/strong>: This  person  was  diagnosed with  a  mental  disability. As  a  result,  the  medical  science  was   existing   and  it was  used  to  diagnose  a  mental  illness,  by  a   doctor  who  has  this  knowledge  and  ability.<\/span><\/p>\n

He  cooks: <\/strong>The  cooking  art  presupposes  a  hearth, fuel, cooking  pots, serving  items  and  ingredients. Thus,  there  is  an expert  for  the  construction  of  a  hearth  and  a manner  of  lighting  it up, along  with  the cooking  pots,  of  serving  food  and  of  using  the  stored  ingredients.<\/span><\/p>\n
