It&nbsp; dates&nbsp; back&nbsp; to&nbsp; 1400&nbsp; B.C..<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">We&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; have&nbsp; neither&nbsp;&nbsp; a&nbsp; depiction&nbsp; of the&nbsp; original, nor&nbsp; any&nbsp; elements&nbsp; about&nbsp; when&nbsp; and&nbsp; by&nbsp; whom&nbsp; it&nbsp; was&nbsp; found,&nbsp; until&nbsp; now.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>The&nbsp; text&nbsp; refers&nbsp; to&nbsp; a&nbsp; family&nbsp; conflict. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp; text&nbsp; is&nbsp; a&nbsp; document&nbsp; of&nbsp; conflicts&nbsp; across&nbsp; time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp; phonetic&nbsp; values,&nbsp; as&nbsp; they&nbsp; were&nbsp; identified&nbsp; and&nbsp; phonetically&nbsp; transcribed&nbsp; by&nbsp; <em><strong>Ventris&nbsp; <\/strong><\/em><em><strong>and&nbsp; <\/strong><\/em>Chadwick, are&nbsp; the&nbsp; following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>KA KO DE DE ME NO NO PE RE E<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>We&nbsp; studied&nbsp; the&nbsp; phonetic&nbsp; values&nbsp; in&nbsp; the&nbsp; actual&nbsp; text. We understood&nbsp; it,&nbsp; we&nbsp; read&nbsp;&nbsp; and&nbsp;&nbsp; rendered&nbsp;&nbsp; it&nbsp; into&nbsp; Modern&nbsp; Greek,&nbsp; but&nbsp; we&nbsp; also&nbsp; approached&nbsp; it&nbsp; philosophically.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>Figuration&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; phonetic&nbsp; values&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; text.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">In&nbsp; our own&nbsp; view,&nbsp; the&nbsp; phonetic&nbsp; values&nbsp; are&nbsp; formed&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; as&nbsp; follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>KAKO\u2013DEDE\u2013MENO\u2013NO\u2013PEREE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp; language&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; text&nbsp; is&nbsp; <strong>Greek<\/strong>,&nbsp; <strong>Archaic<\/strong>, typical&nbsp; of&nbsp; any&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Minoan&nbsp; text<\/strong>. The&nbsp; grammatical&nbsp; structure&nbsp; of&nbsp;&nbsp; the&nbsp; text&nbsp; is&nbsp; mixed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">One&nbsp; can&nbsp; identify&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Pontic <\/strong>&nbsp;words, as&nbsp; well as&nbsp; <strong>Classical&nbsp; Greek&nbsp; Language<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp; utterance&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; words&nbsp;&nbsp; and&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; verbal&nbsp; types, follows&nbsp; the&nbsp; grammatical&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>rules<\/strong>&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; Pontic&nbsp; Dialect, as&nbsp; well&nbsp; as&nbsp; those&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; Classical&nbsp; Greek&nbsp;&nbsp; Language.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>Rendition<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong><strong>of<\/strong><strong>&nbsp; <\/strong><strong>the<\/strong><strong>&nbsp; <\/strong><strong>text<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>\u03a4\u03bf \u03ba\u03b1\u03ba\u03cc\u03bd \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5 \u03c4\u03b5\u03c4\u03ad \u03bc\u03ad\u03bd\u03bf\u03c2, \u03bd\u03bf\u03ce \u03c0\u03b5\u03c1\u03b1\u03b9\u03b5\u03af.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>The&nbsp; <\/strong><strong>\u03a4<\/strong><strong>ext&nbsp; in&nbsp; Modern&nbsp; Greek:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong><em>I&nbsp; realize&nbsp; that&nbsp; my&nbsp; father\u2019s&nbsp; bad&nbsp; anger&nbsp; is&nbsp; about&nbsp; to&nbsp; stop.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">(<strong><em>\u039f \u03ba\u03b1\u03ba\u03cc\u03c2 \u03c4\u03bf\u03c5 \u03c0\u03b1\u03c4\u03ad\u03c1\u03b1 \u03bc\u03bf\u03c5 \u03b8\u03c5\u03bc\u03cc\u03c2 \u03b1\u03bd\u03c4\u03b9\u03bb\u03b1\u03bc\u03b2\u03ac\u03bd\u03bf\u03bc\u03b1\u03b9 \u03cc\u03c4\u03b9 \u03c4\u03b5\u03bb\u03b5\u03b9\u03ce\u03bd\u03b5\u03b9, \u03c0\u03b1\u03cd\u03b5\u03b9).<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong>A&nbsp;&nbsp; Philosophical&nbsp; Approach:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp; author&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; text&nbsp; is&nbsp; a&nbsp; member&nbsp; of&nbsp; a&nbsp; family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">He&nbsp; warns&nbsp; someone&nbsp; else&nbsp; about&nbsp; his&nbsp; father\u2019s&nbsp; anger, which&nbsp; he&nbsp; evaluates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp; receiver&nbsp; is&nbsp; probably&nbsp; a&nbsp; member&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; family&nbsp; and&nbsp; he&nbsp; has&nbsp; been&nbsp; expelled,&nbsp; so&nbsp; he&nbsp; waits&nbsp; for&nbsp;&nbsp; any&nbsp; developments. He&nbsp; may&nbsp; also&nbsp;&nbsp; be&nbsp; another&nbsp; person,&nbsp; not&nbsp; belonging&nbsp; to&nbsp; this&nbsp; family, who disagreed&nbsp; with&nbsp; the&nbsp; father&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; but&nbsp; who&nbsp; is&nbsp; interested&nbsp;&nbsp; in&nbsp; the&nbsp; father\u2019s&nbsp; feelings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">According&nbsp; to&nbsp; the&nbsp; text,&nbsp; there&nbsp; are&nbsp; three&nbsp; heroes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">Firstly,&nbsp; there is&nbsp; an&nbsp; angry&nbsp; father about&nbsp; a&nbsp; moral, a behavioural ,&nbsp; or&nbsp; a&nbsp; transaction&nbsp; issue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">Moreover,&nbsp; there&nbsp; is&nbsp; a&nbsp; person&nbsp; who&nbsp; is&nbsp; anxious&nbsp; about&nbsp; the&nbsp; father\u2019s&nbsp; anger. It&nbsp; is&nbsp; not clear if this&nbsp; person&nbsp; is&nbsp; a&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; daughter,&nbsp; a&nbsp; son,&nbsp; or&nbsp; a&nbsp; person&nbsp; not&nbsp; belonging&nbsp; to&nbsp; the&nbsp; family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">The&nbsp; immediate&nbsp; person,&nbsp; who&nbsp; acts as&nbsp; a&nbsp; messenger,&nbsp; expresses&nbsp; his&nbsp; opinion&nbsp; to&nbsp; the&nbsp; person&nbsp; who&nbsp; caused&nbsp; the&nbsp; father\u2019s&nbsp; feelings, based&nbsp; on&nbsp; the&nbsp; father\u2019s&nbsp; behaviour.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">He&nbsp; expresses&nbsp; his&nbsp; own&nbsp; view:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\"><strong><em>I&nbsp; believe &nbsp;&nbsp;that&nbsp; my&nbsp; father\u2019s&nbsp; bad&nbsp; anger&nbsp; is&nbsp; about&nbsp; to&nbsp; stop.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: flor;\">We&nbsp; should&nbsp; not&nbsp; forget&nbsp; that&nbsp; during&nbsp; that&nbsp; time,&nbsp; there&nbsp; were&nbsp; behaviour, as&nbsp; well&nbsp; as&nbsp; punishment&nbsp; rules.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I  am  making  decisions  about  family  conflicts.<br \/>\nMy  father\u2019s  feelings<br \/>\nThis  inscription  was  found  in  Pylos,  Messinia, Greece.
