We     have  neither   a  depiction  of the  original, nor  any  elements  about  when  and  by  whom  it  was  found,  until  now.<\/span><\/p>\n

In  the  text  we  can  find   a  dialogue  during  a  transaction, between  farmers,  about  a  plantation.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The  text  is  a  document  of  agricultural  knowledge   and  solidarity  actions  among  farmers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The  phonetic  values,  as  they  were  identified  and  phonetically  transcribed  by  <\/strong>Ventris  <\/strong><\/em>and  <\/strong><\/em>Chadwick, are  the  following:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We  studied  the  phonetic  values  in  the  actual  text. We understood  it,  we  read   and   rendered   it  into  Modern  Greek,  but  we  also  approached  it  philosophically.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In  our own  view,  the  phonetic  values  are  formed    as  follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

The  language  of  the  text  is  Greek<\/strong>,  Archaic<\/strong>, typical  of  any   Minoan  text<\/strong>. The  grammatical  structure  of   the  text  is  mixed.<\/span><\/p>\n

One  can  identify   Pontic, Macedonian  and  Doric<\/strong>   words, as  well as  Classical  Greek  Language<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The  utterance  of  the  words   and  of  the  verbal  types, follows  the  grammatical   rules<\/strong>  of  the  Pontic  and  Doric   Dialects, as  well  as  those  of  the  Classical  Greek   Language.<\/span><\/p>\n

A   Philosophical  Approach:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u03a4he  stocktaking  of  the  transactions  between  farmers   recorded  in  this  text,   takes  place  nowadays  as  well.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thus,  we  can  conclude  that  there  was   a  systematic  farming   knowledge  at  that  time.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Another  element  emerging  from  the  text  is  the  solidarity  among  the  farmers.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In  the  text,  there  is  a  reference  to  a  poor   person  who  borrowed  some  onion  bulbs,  and  repaid  the  loans.<\/span><\/p>\n

The  receiver, who  did  not  have  enough  onion  bulbs, was  trying  to  find  some  of  them  in order  to  complete  the  necessary  quantity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even  nowadays,  kokar<\/em>  (\u00ab\u03ba\u03bf\u03ba\u03ac\u03c1<\/em>\u00bb), as  it  is  called  throughout  Greece, the  bulb  used  in  seeding, is  measured   per  acre  in  a  plantation. The  person  in  the  text, tries  to  ensure  the  necessary mass  for  his  onion  plantation.<\/span><\/p>\n

His  knowledge  extends  to  the  present,  as  an  ancestral  consignment.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
