THE PHAISTOS DISC
Maybe the Holiest Minoan Text
It was found on 3rd July 1908, by Luigi Pernier in Phaistos, Minoan Crete, Greece.
It dates back to approximately 1700-1600 B.C..
Nowadays it is exposed in the Archaeological Museum of Irakleio, Crete.

The History of the Interpretation of the Disc.
Since 1908, when the Disc was found, until the 12th November 2016, a lot of efforts have been made to interpret and to understand the Minoan language, but nothing is complete and justified.
Some researchers and scholars, testify that the Minoan Script is not Greek.
On 12th November 2016 the book “THE PHAISTOS DISC” («Ο Δίσκος της Φαιστού») was presented by the Director of the International Academy of Ancestral Discourse “The Minoan Sarpidon”, Ioannis Chamizidis , at the “Gerasimos Arsenis” Amphitheatre of the Technological Educational Institution of Western Macedonia. Since this date, there is the first time internationally that we have a thorough and justified study with a reading, an interpretation, a philosophical approach and a CD with the music of the Disc.
The book was published in November 2016 by Imfognomon (Ιμφογνώμων) editions.
After the presentation of our own view about the text inscribed on the Disc, a lot of researchers and scholars have reviewed their opinion and they agree with us.
We are a bibliographical reference and we thank all those people who make references to our texts.
Our opinion and thesis, about the triple reading of the Disc, was presented in International and Panhellenic Conferences, organized by the Academic Community and it was eagerly accepted.
The second edition of the book is electronic and it is posted on the website of the International Academy of Ancestral Discourse.
This edition includes two extra readings of the same text of the Disc, with a mystic style of reading.
- The First Reading “the speaking” («το ομιλόν»), narrates a woman’s actions, who teaches morality and good manners through her
- A Brief Introduction to the Ancestral Mysticism and to the Clergy’s
- The Second Reading, “the meaning” (“το σημαίνον»), brings to light some Clergy It defines the principles and the rules a Minoan fighter should follow, through the consonantal way of Reading.
- The Third Reading, “the secret” («το κρυπτόν») brings to light some Clergy Ιt predicts the advent of Jesus Christ, while it reveals the tenets of power, through the Antiphon Consonantal way of reading.
The Disc is the most important ancestral text, as it teaches morals, rules, good behaviour and how to be hard-working. At the same time, it is the most important prediction for the changes that would happen in the wider greek area.
In the text we can find elements about the cultural level our ancestors, the Minoans, had, in the 17th century B.C..
We studied the phonetic values in the actual text. We understood it, we read and rendered it into Modern Greek, but we also approached it philosophically.
The language of the text is Greek, Archaic, typical of any Minoan text. The grammatical structure of the text is mixed.
One can identify Pontic, Doric and Macedonian words, as well as Classical Greek Language.
The utterance of the words and of the verbal types, follows the grammatical rules of the Pontic Doric and Macedonian Dialects, as well as those of the Classical Greek Language.
THE BOOK IN BRIEF
THE PHAISTOS DISC
(The First Reading)
A Brief Introduction to the Ancestral Μysticism, as well as to the Clergy Secrets
The Greeks’ names and the Clergy Secrets
Some ancestral texts thet were kept secretly in the places of the clergy had a different script. This kind of script was called Consonantal Mystic Script.
This was done for reasons of safety. Knowledge about how to activate invisible powers, should be kept by few people, being exclusively members of the clergy.
We present our effort, in order to make this understood.
Anything written is a code (Πάντα τα γεγραμμένα κώδιξ εστί), said the Religious Leader Koryvantas Tervisios, the Apollo’s worshipper, whose name was Ioannis.
All the secrets concerning Mysticism are expressed with codes, and they were accompanied by the supreme swear of silence.
ΚΟΝΞ ΟΜ ΠΑΞ ή ΠΑΝΞ.
I swear to my birth essence, that if I betray the secrets, I will lose it forever.
The oath is hard, absolute and clear. The priests know what should be said with the use of a code. All these form the common tradition across time.
This common tradition as ethos-morals and customs exists nowadays. The Myth, the induction to the common tradition, made words simpler, in order to be understood even by the lowest social classes. This is the reason why nowadays we consider this simplified tradition as a fairytale.
The researchers of these sacred Greek texts, should know this truth:
Everything is accepted through the myth.
The actions are accepted through the common tradition.
What is the Consonantal Script and Reading, when and where has it been recorded, and which Greeks know about it?
It is a kind of stenography of the time. The inscriber shrinks the text in this manner and he writes fewer letters. Sometimes, some vowels interfere in the consonants. This is done when it is necessary, in order to retain the meaning, due to misunderstanding in the identification of the words, when the consonants form more than one words. When the text belongs to the clergy, only a handful of times includes vowels, instead, it includes only consonants, which almost always initiate a word.
The people who have studied the Greek Discourse in depth, know that this discourse has a triple hypostasis, like the person who utters this discourse.
The three hypostases the person who utters the discourse has, are the following: The God, who is the womb of being, the immaterial body and the decaying flesh.
The three hypostases of the discourse are the following:
“The secret” («το κρυπτόν»), “the meaning” (“το σημαίνον”) and “the speaking” («το ομιλόν»).
“The speaking” («το ομιλόν»), or “the discourse in flesh” («ο εν σαρκεί λόγος»), is the words we understand in the oral communication, as the simplest meaning.
“The meaning” (“το σημαίνον») or “the ethereal discourse” («αιθερικός λόγος») (“Consonantal”/ «Συμφωνικόν»), defines the meaning of speech understood by the receiver, as a value in his/her own mental field.
“The secret” («το κρυπτόν») or the “Archetype discourse” («Αρχέτυπος λόγος») («Αntiphon”/ “Αντίφωνο») the code that “the meaning” and “the speaking” use, “they use it in place and time and on the mind, while it is understood only by the soul”.
In the oracles, “the secret” was defined in place and time by the Religious Leaders, as “ ‘the meaning’ in the making and as ‘the speaking’ , they delivered the prophecy to those who needed it and asked for the revelation of God’s Will”.
This defines the confidential information to those not initiated. This is the manner Pythia used and we know as her screams nowadays. These screams were understood only by the Religious Leaders, who made prophecies.
Such texts that exist nowadays and that came to light are the following:
- The one-letter Prayer on a Stele, on the Ancient Sanctuary of
- The prophecy that is inscribed on Great Konstantinos’ Grave, and which predicts the prosperity and the decline of the Roman Empire, known to us as the Byzantine
- The eulogy and the proceedings of Alexander the Great’s burial, titled ANTI KOU ALEXANDROU (ANTI KOY ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ), written in the Hittite system of consonantal Script, with a mixture of symbols of Linear
